RisCura, in partnership with the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business, launched the 6th edition of the African Investing for Impact Barometer (AIFIB) in April 2022. The report showcases the most comprehensive and up-to-date Investing for Impact (IFI) research in Southern, West and East Africa.
The AIFIB surveyed 2640 funds from 382 fund managers in sub-Saharan Africa and scored them based on their implementation of IFI strategies, namely, ESG integration, investor engagement, screening, sustainability-themed investment, and impact investing. The AIFIB is the only Pan-African market survey on impact investing on the continent.
The AIFIB was first launched in 2013, the 6th edition of the report is the first edition conducted in partnership with RisCura.
